THE BIBLE IS THE WORD OF GOD
THE BIBLE IS THE WORD OF GOD
The
Word of God is creative, and it is the greatest power in the world. It reflects
the power of God and it fulfils his purposes. All is created by the word of God;
God spoke the Word and it happened as he said (Gen 1:1-31; Ps 33:6-9; Heb
11:3). The book of Genesis records that God created light, substance, energy,
time and life by his Word. Everything that exists was created out of nothing,
and he holds everything together by the same Word. The word of God is the
source of the power of the Universe. From the beginning to the end of the
Bible, and in our own experience, we observe the power of the Word of God at
work: it is living and active, “Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates
even to dividing soul and spirit, (Heb 4:12-13). God’s Word is living and
active, reviving those who accept it. The Holy Spirit makes it alive. Holy
Scripture is inspired by God and is intended for “teaching, rebuking,
correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be
thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Ti 3:16-17). The bible is the word
of God revealed to the mankind of His will for their life.[i] It
has power and life to make things in the life of the believers who believes the
word of God. The spoken word of God, the promises lives in our lives to make it
fulfil in our lives. The word spoken by God will not return back without
achieving the purpose.
